I’ve been happy with our Denon AH-D550s for roughly 2 years now but got tired of bent ears from your binaural pads, and went buying a set of nice circumaural headphones. These headphones become a dose of an impulse choice after version over 90 pages worth regarding forum discussions on various websites on these “budget Audio Technica A900s”($250 headphones) as you forum goer stated. The deep on these cans, even without having EQ, is fairly large, however with a little(LITTLE) EQ they may be put well into basshead soil. For some it may represent too much but if you listen to music that incorporates a heavy bass rythmn (Jazz, funk, rap, reggae,R&B) then you’ll definitely be tapping your toes combined with the beat. The highs may not extend as much as i’d prefer but given the price One paid ($60) it is more(a) adequate and can be fixed with a little EQ as well as an amp. The mids ar surprising well developed for a set of cans in this price scope and can be made best of all with a few mods. Disdain their large size they ar surprisingly light and the padding feels just right. Be guaranteed to get them about 10 working hours of playtime or “burn-inward” as out of the boxwood they sound a bit cloudy and recessed.

Also as stated in the heading these ales make excellent guinea pigs with the beginning modder. The size of your headphoens makes it rather simple to put your hand in a see what you are doing(read: modder friendly). There exist several improvements that can be experienced and the rather large cup area gives you plenty connected with room to experiment. Look improving RX900 mods on google and you may get links to more when compared to a few threads on how for you to mod your RX900s(head-fi has some on the most effective with photos!)

All in completely great headphones for the cash( no much if anythign best in the same price bracket) and the perfect candidate for those who want to get thier feet wet with modding. Hope this review helps!
